As you prepare for your first appointment with the doctor, and for subsequent appointments, we suggest that you write down your questions. Some patients find it convenient to have a designated notebook  with pockets to keep lab results, orders and informational materials from our office. Other patients use their Smart Phones to record questions.

We encourage our patients to bring a family member or friend to doctor visits. This person can take jot down the doctor’s responses so the patient can fully focus on response. A second “pair of ears” is always helpful when a lot of information is being shared during the visit.

The staff will provide you with printed materials about your condition and/or your expected treatments.  They can also assist you with finding additional information and resources about your condition online.
