HOC supports our patients and families during their journey to wellness and survivorship by offering many opportunities. Managing side effects related to treatments can sometimes be difficult.  The medical and nursing staffs will provide you with information and ideas to prevent or minimize side effects related to your therapy.  It is important that you ask questions and call the office if you are experiencing troublesome or new side effects.  For helpful information regarding specific side effects, please refer to the ACS: http://www.cancer.org/treatment/treatmentsandsideeffects/physicalsideeffects/index  or the NCI: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/coping/physicaleffects.
